They were known even though they were almost as large as the Cadillac, usually with a slightly shorter wheelbase. LaSalle’s of this year are considered a full classic. This body style known as a sport phaeton or most known as a dual cowl phaeton because of it having two windshields. One Front and one passenger. They were equipped with a V8 engine and wire wheels. The car shown is a completely original car being painted once in the early 50’s. Other than that it’s completely original with no rust. All original panels and wood. New tires and powder-coated wheels. The dual cowl is the lowest production except the town car! This car runs and drives excellent being owned by the same owner from late 40’s till late 80’s. Has not been restored, just kept up to perform flawlessly. It still has all its number matching components. Has dual side mounts and rear truck. Needs nothing to start using for fun. A true classic with the value always going up. Had a new top and carpeting 10 years ago. Buyer's premium for this vehicle is 14%.
