1929 Jim Bottomley Lucky Strike Large Die-Cut Advertising Sign. Amazing and exceptionally scarce artifact is one we've never seen before, and don't expect to see again. While the Lucky Strike "trolley signs" of this era do occasionally surface in the hobby, massive die-cut signs such as this are all but extinct. We must note some condition flaws, notably the missing end of Bottomley's bat, and some portion of the bottom which surely once included the Lucky Strike brand name. But even with a hole in the cap, and evident scuffing, tearing and staining throughout, the 36" tall portion that remains is pure Golden Age gold. The amazing advertising sign, announcing the Hall of Fame Cardinal's MVP season of 1928, is attractively matted and framed to final dimensions of 22.5x42".

Shipping: Framed - with Glass, Small (view shipping information)
