<B>1929 Ernie Orsatti Signed Uniform Player's Contract.</B></I> This Gashouse Gang staple produced the best offensive numbers of his career for the season covered by this standard contract with the St. Louis Cardinals franchise. The star outfielder was to be paid $5,000 for his services that season, and agrees to the terms with a 10/10 black ink signature on the second page. Joining his is an autograph from team president and Hall of Fame executive Branch Rickey, likewise in 10/10 boldness. Another tough and desirable signature from National League president John Heydler appears on the cover of the contract, also maintaining perfect 10/10 quality.
