<B>1929-D 1C MS66 Red NGC.</B></I> As with many mintmarked Lincoln cents from the 1920s, a high mintage (in this case more than 41 million pieces) does not equate to availability in high grades. The 1929-D is an elusive issue in Gem and better condition. MS66 is the finest one can hope for--NGC has only certified one other, PCGS has graded 19--none are finer at either service (4/07). The surfaces on this piece are bright with even mint red color and perfectly balanced on both obverse and reverse.
