<B>1929 Babe Ruth Single Signed Baseball.</B></I> A gorgeous OAL (Barnard) ball with contrast stitching and bold stamping holds a charming inscription from the game's greatest star. The Babe fills an entire side panel and sweet spot with the handwritten text, "To My Little Sweetheart Mary Mires, From Babe Ruth, April 6, 1929." The boldness of the ink averages 5/10, dropping below this mark only at far right with Ruth's handwritten date. The all-important autograph, and the "My Little Sweetheart" inscription, are easily legible and display very nicely. A special ball that demonstrates the sweet natured Babe's affection for children that is well documented in baseball lore. <I>LOA from PSA/DNA.</B></I>
