1929 $5 MS63 PCGS. In 1929, half eagle coinage resumed ( 662,000 mintage) after a 13-year break. It is available in most grades up to the MS65 level, at which point it is rare; it is virtually unobtainable above Gem condition. The MS63 presented in this lot displays nice luster and attractive peach-gold color with just the slightest trace of light green. The design elements are impressively struck, exhibiting just a hint of softness on the eagle's shoulder feathers. A few unobtrusive marks on each side preclude a higher grade.
From The Dr. Eugene Cherny Collection of $5 and $10 Indians.

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)

Importa
