1929 $5 MS63 PCGS. This is a sharply struck representative of the final Indian half eagle issue with frosty surfaces. Both sides are highly lustrous with brilliant yellow-gold color. The surfaces are lightly abraded as expected for the grade. The 1929 half eagle was the only issue produced after 1916 and, despite a high mintage of 662,000 coins ranking seventh highest of all dates, is one of the key coins in the Indian half eagle series. Examples are generally available in all grades through MS64, although some searching is required to find a suitable and properly graded piece, such as this coin.

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
