According to Mike Fuljenz and Doug Winter (2001), the 1929 has a lower extant population in MS65 than any other 1920s issue in this series. Add to that the fact that the '29 is the final issue in the Indian Two-and-a-Half series and one should be able to recognize the importance of the present offering among high quality type and date collectors alike. This is an appealing example with lovely golden-rose coloration. The obverse seems nearly pristine, while there are a number of trivial blemishes on the reverse, none of them causing us to question the Gem designation for this coin. Population: 86 in 65, 3 finer (4/03).<BR><I>From the McCormick Ranch Collection.</B></I> </FONT></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE><BR><A name=PricesRealized></A><TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width="100%" bgColor=#000000 border=0><TBODY><TR><TD width="100%"><TABLE cellSpacing=1 cellPadding=3 width="100%" border=0><TBODY><TR><TD width="100%" bgColor=#79735c><A name=PR><FONT face=arial color=#ffffff size=3><B>Previous Prices from Heritage Auctions</B> </FONT></A></TD></TR><TR><TD bgColor=#f6f6ed><TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width="100%" border=1><TBODY><TR><TD align=middle width="33%"><B>Date</B></TD><TD align=middle width="33%"><B>Service</B></TD><TD align=middle width="33%"><B>Price</B></TD></TR><TR bgColor=whitesmoke><TD width="33%"><B>08/09/2000</B></TD><TD width="33%">PCGS</TD><TD width="33%">$1,553.00</TD></TR><TR bgColor=whitesmoke><TD width="33%"><B>10/06/2001</B></TD><TD width="33%">PCGS</TD><TD width="33%">$3,220.00</TD></TR><TR bgColor=whitesmoke><TD width="33%"><B>01/07/2000</B></TD><TD width="33%">PCGS</TD><TD width="33%">$3,105.00</TD></TR><TR bgColor=whitesmoke><TD width="33%"><B>07/30/1994</B></TD><TD width="33%">PCGS</TD><TD width="33%">$4,730.00</TD></TR><TR bgColor=whitesmoke><TD width="33%"><B>03/01/2000</B></TD><TD width="33%">PCGS</TD><TD width="33%">$2,645.00</TD></TR><TR bgColor=whitesmoke><TD width="33%"><B>05/01/1999</B></TD><TD width="33%">PCGS</TD><TD width="33%">$2,760.00</TD></TR><TR bgColor=whitesmoke><TD width="33%"><B>06/08/2002</B></TD><TD width="33%">NGC</TD><TD width="33%">$2,472.50</TD></TR><TR bgColor=whitesmoke><TD width="33%"><B>06/04/1995</B></TD><TD width="33%">NGC</TD><TD width="33%">$3,300.00</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></TD></TR><TR><TD bgColor=#ffffff><FONT face=arial size=1 ?>PLEASE NOTE: All prices realized reflect the final hammer price PLUS the buyer's premium in auctions that charge a buyer's premium.
