1929 $2 1/2 MS65 PCGS. According to Mike Fuljenz and Doug Winter (2001), the 1929 has a lower extant population in MS65 than any other 1920s issue in this series. Add to that the fact that the '29 is the final issue in the Indian Two-and-a-Half series and one should be able to recognize the important of the present Gem among high quality type and date collectors alike. This is a richly frosted example with lovely golden-rose coloration. Both the peripheries and the central design elements are free of the excessive striking incompleteness that often plagues survivors of this type. There is not a single abrasion that would cause us to question the MS65 designation. Important notice: We expect to be auctioning lots at the rate of 200-250 per hour.
