<B>1928 World Series Program (New York).</B></I> The Yanks avenged their Series loss to the St. Louis Cardinals two years earlier this October, sweeping the red birds in four games to earn the squad's third World Championship. This very tough program was issued for either the first or second game of the Series, games played at the young ballpark that was coming to be known as The House that Ruth Built. A mild degree of wear is to be expected, with wear and light toning around the edges and some wrinkling at the center from having been folded lengthwise ages ago, but the program is still solidly bound and complete with no tearing or significant staining. A very solid example of a tough and desirable publication.
