<B>1928 World Series Press Pin (St. Louis Cardinals).</B></I> The Yanks turned the tables on the Cardinals this October, avenging their loss in the 1926 Fall Classic. Almost certainly this pin was on hand for the fourth and final game of the Yankee sweep, which saw the Babe smash three long balls (and one for his buddy Lou too) en route to victory. Minor imperfections to the enamel at three and six o'clock do not break through the surface, leaving the pin to present very nicely regardless.
