<B>1928-S 5C MS65 PCGS.</B></I> According to David Lange (2000), most 1928-S nickels " ... display a general softness in the date, the mintmark and the bison's forehead." Not so the specimen in this lot! An attentive strike brought out strong definition in the design features, including those elements alluded to above. Lustrous surfaces show a thin coat of champagne color, and are devoid of bothersome marks.
