<B>1928-S 50C MS64 PCGS.</B></I> Large S. Crisp serifs differentiate this mintmark from the Small S found on lesser denominations and some other halves. The luminous surfaces are awash in blue-green, ruby-gold, and russet patina. Aside from a pair of long, thin abrasions that appear in the right obverse field, the surfaces are clean, though the central devices exhibit the striking weakness that defines many examples of this issue.
