1928-S 25C MS68 ICG. A simply gorgeous quarter for the toning enthusiast. Both sides display crimson-russet, electric-blue, and sea-green peripheral toning that is markedly more vibrant on the obverse. Smooth, frosty luster forms a splendid backdrop to this color scheme. Nearly abrasion-free features are evident beneath the toning. This would be an impressive Standing Liberty quarter regardless of date, but the 1928-S is a difficult coin to locate in finer Mint State grades.

Coin Engraver: Hermon A.
