<B>1928-S<25C> MS67 Full Head NGC.</B></I> This example is tied for the finest certified by either NGC or PCGS. It has fully lustrous surfaces beneath gorgeous lilac-brown and iridescent toning. This piece appears to be the Large S variety, with the mintmark all but touching the adjacent star. Another similar quality example in this sale has the mintmark slightly farther from the star and appears to qualify as the Small S variety. Census: 18 in 67, 0 finer (9/06).
