<B>1928 S$1 MS65 PCGS.</B></I> The Peace dollar mintage of 1928 amounted to just 360,649 pieces, less than half that of the next lowest issue, the 1927. As such, this key date has remained popular with collectors from the year of coinage to the present day. This Gem is predominantly silver-white with a blush of rose in the obverse fields and isolated areas of red patina elsewhere. The obverse has an unusually sharp strike, and the reverse has above-average detail as well.
