1928 $20 MS67 PCGS. The 1928 has the largest mintage (8.8 million pieces) of any U.S. gold coin of any denomination. Consequently, it is the most common date in the Saint-Gaudens twenty dollar series after the 1924 and 1927. Only in MS67 does this issue present a challenge to the Saint-Gaudens double eagle enthusiast. The presently-offered Superb Gem displays an exquisite strike and thick mint frost. Lovely peach-gold color with light greenish tinges bathes highly lustrous surfaces that are free of annoying marks. An inoffensive linear mark above the outstretched arm of Liberty is mentioned as a possible pedigree marker. Population: 64 in 67, 0 finer (10/06).
From The Kutasi Collection.

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)
