1928 $2 1/2 MS65 NGC. The revival of the quarter eagle denomination in 1925 would be short-lived, as no examples were coined after 1929 and the era of circulating gold coinage ended in 1933. This Gem example has pretty luster, particularly on the butter-yellow reverse. Hints of green and orange appear on each side, and the devices are generally well struck. The surfaces are largely free of the marks and abrasions that limit the grades of other pieces.
From The Freedom Collection.

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)
