<B>1927 Walter Johnson Day Wire Photographs Lot of 2, Type 1.</B></I> Pair of images find the Big Train getting the recognition he deserved exactly twenty years and one day after his debut in a Senators uniform. Each photo pictures Johnson receiving gifts to commemorate the event, and include original paper captions (though they have become loose from the back of the photos). Images measure 8x10" and demonstrate only minor edge wear. Confirmed as Type 1 by PSA/DNA.
