<B>1927-D:</B></I> A slightly different technique was used by modernist John Dorusa for the hair and beard on this coin. A much smaller arc punch was employed than on most of his coins. An Average work, this subject has a hatband with a bow, the classic Dorusa ear, and remaining hair on the hat crown. As typically seen, the coin was lightly abraded on the obverse of this VG/Fine coin.
