<B>1927-D 25C MS65 Full Head PCGS.</B></I> Though hardly as notorious as its S-mint counterpart, the 1927-D is the second most elusive of the Type Three Standing Liberty quarters, particularly in Mint State grades. This suitably impressed Gem has pleasing luster beneath hazy blue-gray patina. Small spots of crimson toning appear intermittently at the periphery. Of interest is a die crack that passes through Liberty's head.
