1927-D 10C MS65 PCGS. According to Lange, the master hub for Mercury dimes was apparently lightly damaged before the sinking of dies for 1926, so that all Mercury dimes from then through the end of the series show the olive branch on the right side disconnected from its nexus with the fasces. The 1927-D was struck to the extent of less than 5 million pieces, making it the 12th-lowest mintage in the series. This piece shows typical softness on the letter tops, with russet toning on the reverse. Population: 27 in 65, 10 finer (3/07).

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
