<B>1927-D $1 MS64 PCGS.</B></I> VAM-2. A Top 50 Variety. Notching on the E in WE is the primary evidence for the "Doubled Motto" on this variety. The flashy, frosty surfaces display the wispy diagnostic die crack that extends from below the motto onto the base of Liberty's portrait on the obverse, where dappled milky patina is spread throughout. Modestly marked with only a few grazes.
