<B>1927 Babe Ruth & Miller Huggins Underwood & Underwood Photograph.</B></I> Magnificent Murderers Row image is the work of the famed Underwood & Underwood Studio, one of the premier news services of the day. Though they should need no introduction, the original paper caption on verso introduces the pinstriped participants of this all-time greatest team as "Hoyt, Ruth, Huggins (manager), Meusel, Shawkey." This flawlessly registered silver-gelatin image is one of the finest we've encountered of the famed 1927 Yankees, and a small horizontal crack in the emulsion spanning the chests of Huggins and Meusel is only visible upon the closest of inspection. Otherwise this 6.5x9" photo presents as NRMT.
