1927 50C Vermont MS67 PCGS. While 40,000 Vermont h
1927 50C Vermont MS67 PCGS. While 40,000 Vermont half dollars were struck (plus 34 assay coins), nearly 12,000 were melted, leaving slightly over 28,000 pieces net. Examples in MS60 through MS64 are readily available to collectors. Specimens in MS65 condition are more difficult, and pieces graded loftier will be very difficult to obtain. The gorgeous MS67 specimen offered here is nearly brilliant except for golden-brown toning around the lower and left obverse border, and around the left and upper reverse border. The lustrous surfaces are impeccably well preserved, and the design elements are sharply impressed.
