1927<50C> Vermont MS67 PCGS. A relatively high mintage of 40,000 coins was reduced to a net mintage of 28,108, after 11,892 were returned to the Mint for melting. Most of the survivors that have been graded by NGC and PCGS are in Mint State, but only 38 of those have achieved the MS67 level. This example is well struck, lustrous, and nearly pristine, with even steel-gray color and a few scattered toning specks on each side. Population: 21 in 67, 0 finer (9/06).
