<B>1927 $2 1/2 MS65 <img border='0' src='http://www.heritagecoins.com/images/star.gif' width=10 height=10> NGC.</B></I> Now here is a coin you do not see every day: an Indian Head quarter eagle with brassy-gold color and radiant luster, more typical of a Liberty Head quarter eagle in high grade. This bold combination fully merits the coveted Star designation awarded by NGC for superior eye appeal, as this coin is truly extraordinary. The strike is equally impressive, with full articulation of even the lowest headdress feathers and the necklace. A couple of minor obverse abrasions, in the fields and on the cheek, account for the grade.
