This date was produced at a high standard in terms of strike and luster. Many were obviously well-cared for during the subsequent years of the Great Depression. As a result, high quality examples such as this piece have come down to us in near-Gem and even Gem condition. This piece is sharply defined, and the surfaces glow with mint luster.
