<B>1927 & 1931 St. Louis Cardinals Player Contracts Signed by Branch Rickey.</B></I> Pair of Uniform Player's Contracts dates from a shining era in Redbirds history. The earlier model secures the services of outfielder Roscoe "Wattie" Holm, and features 10/10 ink autographs from both Holm and Hall of Fame executive Branch Rickey accepting the terms. An equally strong signature from League president John Heydler is on the front. The later version is one of the final contracts for Mike Gonzales, who is remembered as one of the very first Cubans to reach the Major League. Again his autograph is joined by Branch Rickey's inside, each in 10/10 condition. Heydler's signature is a stamp in this case. Each contract shows typical storage wear but presents no bothersome flaws. <I>LOA from PSA/DNA.
