We attempt to take as deatiled an Image as possible of both the Obverse and Reverse of all coins and currency, While we try and accurately grade each coin, as coin grading is subjective, we encourage you to asses the pictures yourself and make a grading judgement yourself. We always 100% guarantee authenticity, but we do not guarantee any specific grade, nor do we guarantee that NGC or PCGS or any other grading company will agree to grade the coin. We strive for your repeat business and do everything we can to accurately photograph and describe the coin/currency.
Attractive and lustrous example of this difficult date. This example is a bit above an average struck coin for this date. But that being said, the 1926-d Buffalo is the poorest struck Buffalo in the entire series. It is noted in R. S. Yeoman’s A Guide Book of United States Coins, that the 1926-d is the hardest date to find fully struck. Almost all have no 3 dimensional horn and many have no horn at all. The reverse is always struck worse than the obverse, the strike is due to worn dies. This example has nice luster and an average strike. The Wholesale Greysheet lists ms64 at $1360. Estimated Value $1400
