<B>1926 World Series Program (St. Louis).</B></I> This unscored program suggests a one in three chance that it was issued for the famous "Johnny Sylvester Game," in which the Babe hit three home runs to fulfill a wish for a hospital bedridden youth who, according to legend, was miraculously healed by the feat. Eight decades later the publication remains in marvelous condition, with minor rubbing of the cover and a single small (.75") tear to an interior page the only defects worth noting. The spine remains solid and undamaged. One of the better examples we've seen of this Sportsman's Park issue.
