<B>1926-S 5C --Obverse Scratched, Improperly Cleaned--NCS. AU Details</B></I> The 1926-S has the lowest mintage (970,000 pieces) of any regular issue in the Buffalo nickel series. AU coins are difficult to locate, and Mint State examples are scarce to rare. Bright, lightly toned surfaces reveal a few shallow scratches on the lower obverse of this AU Details specimen. All of the design elements show good definition. The scratches are not that bad, and the cleaning was light.
