1926-S 50C Oregon MS68 ICG. The obverse periphery has rich tobacco-brown and aqua-blue patina, while the center has faint mauve color. The reverse is less dramatic, but has wisps of lemon-gold and lilac patina. A sharply struck Superb Gem that has only a hint of weakness of detail on the second T in STATES and the back of the Conestoga wagon. A lustrous and essentially pristine Commemorative. The 1926-S is exceptionally rare in the MS68 grade. PCGS and NGC combined have seen 7 examples, with none finer. Important notice: We expect to be auctioning lots at the rate of 200-250 per hour.
