1926-S 25C MS66 PCGS. The 1926-S in Gem Full Head condition is a "much underrated coin" according to Standing Liberty pundit J.H. Cline, among the rarest save for the 1920-S and 1926-D in Full Head. The San Francisco Mint had trouble striking up most coins in the 1920s to the standards of Denver and Philadelphia. This coin lacks full head details, but it is remarkably pristine and attractive. The obverse boasts deep lilac-rose patina, with the reverse more delicately tinted from the same palette. Three leaf sprigs radiate above Liberty's head, but some flatness at the ear removes Full Head consideration. Good luster and excellent eye appeal complete the package. Some diagonal die polishing striations are noted in the area of LIB on the obverse. One of the dozen finest certified at PCGS, with an added 10 Full Head pieces (10/06).

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)
