<B>1926-S $20 MS65 PCGS.</B></I> A bold striking with an intense, satiny sheen and attractive lemon-yellow peripheral highlights. What sets this coin apart from the typical 1926-S is the lack of surface marks. Only a shallow blemish in the left obverse field atop the fifth and sixth rays of the sun is even the slightest bit distracting. A small grease stain below and to the right of this point is more apt to be noticed at a casual glance. The 1926-S Double Eagle, after a steady stream of migration from Europe over the past three decades, is one of the more available mintmarked Saints from the 1920s. However, most of the pieces that have entered the U.S. from European sources have been marginal quality Uncs to MS63 at best. At the Gem level, the '26-S twenty remains an extremely scarce coin.
