<B>1926-S $20 MS65 NGC.</B></I> The 1926-S was, at one time many years ago, considered to be among the rarest of the many elusive issues in this challenging series--and then overseas bank hoards began divulging up their long-buried treasures. But even today, most Mint State coins are at the lower end of the spectrum, and Gem coins are few and far between. This example boasts splendid deep sunset-orange surfaces with bold luster and a sharp strike. The few light abrasions are away from the prime focal points and consistent with the grade assigned.
