<B>1926-S $20 MS64 PCGS. CAC.</B></I> A beautiful near-Gem of this challenging branch mint issue. More than 2 million 1926-S double eagles were coined, but there was little contemporary demand, probably because the Philadelphia twenties were more convenient to ship across the Atlantic to Europe. This is a lustrous and unusually unabraded piece with lovely green-gold toning.
