<B>1926 Chicago Bears Broadside with Pete Stinchcomb.</B></I> Though Hall of Fame quarterback Paddy Driscoll is the name noted as the Bears star, the cover boy of this 6x9" paper broadside is Stinchcomb, a huge collegiate star for Ohio State previous to his professional turn. Note that professional football was seen as a distant second to the NCAA, a fact made evident by the description of the event as "Post-Graduate Football!" at the top of the broadside. Condition is marvelous, with no noteworthy creases, stains or tears. One of four early Bears broadsides offered in this auction.
