<B>1926 50C Sesquicentennial MS66 NGC.</B></I> This is one of the finest existing examples of the conditionally rare Sesquicentennial half dollar issued to mark the 150th anniversary of our nation's independence. The "Sesqui" half dollars, as they are usually called, were rather poorly made with shallow depth of the design in the original dies, causing indistinct features on most examples. The opportunity to acquire a sharply struck representative is seldom encountered. The soft frosty surfaces are fully original with pale brown and brighter gold color on each side. This piece has exceptional surfaces free of any distracting marks.
