<B>1926 50C Sesquicentennial MS65 NGC.</B></I> Although it is one of the more common issues of the classic commemorative series in circulated and lower Mint State grades, the Sesqui. half becomes elusive in grades of Gem and rare any finer. Part of this is due to the shallow relief which creates a subtle and nuanced design that lends itself to weakness and abrasions. Light Champagne toning is seen, accented with russet shades. The luster is well above average as is the overall eye appeal.
