1926 $2 1/2 Sesquicentennial MS65 PCGS. A handsome example that exhibits satiny luster with a golden-green glow and a noticeable "cartwheel" effect. Almost entirely blemish-free: just a small abrasion to the left of Independence Hall's tower, and a few faint ancient contact marks (from the time of minting?) here and there, beneath the delicate golden toning. Solidly graded, this piece shows off the shallow engraving of designer John R. Sinnock with excellent effect--proving that a design need not be in high relief to produce eye appeal.

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
