1926 $2 1/2 Sesquicentennial MS64 PCGS. As sometimes seen on this popular commemorative gold type, the surfaces display a mixture of steel-green and apricot coloration. Well struck and highly lustrous, with a few superficial field marks that prevent the Gem grade assessment. Purchased in the 1930's at face value by Karl Stecher Sr. from coins turned in by the public as per President Roosevelt's March 9, 1933 directive. An old brown collector's envelope marked "1926 2.50 unc. Sesqui" is included.
From The Stecher Collection.

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
