1925-S 10C MS66 Full Bands PCGS
1925-S 10C MS66 Full Bands PCGS. This is a conditionally rare issue, and one that David Lange refers to as perhaps the worst-produced date in the entire Mercury dime series. The current example is a remarkable Premium Gem that displays little of the usual striking weakness that is typical for the 1925-S. The central reverse bands are fully defined, as are the often-weak obverse details. Dappled coloration over each side includes shades of sky-blue, gold, and russet. The surfaces are impeccably preserved and blemish-free. Population: 16 in 66 Full Bands, 4 finer (8/07).

Coin Engraver: Adolph A.
