1925-D 5C MS65 PCGS. The typical 1925-D nickel comes with a weak strike. David Lange (2000) writes that: "Even mint state coins may show little or no sign of the bison's horn, while very few have complete horns." The Gem in this lot, while having some minor softness in portions of the Indian's and bison's hair, exhibits sharpness on the horn, date, LIBERTY, and mintmark. A melange of low intensity powder-blue, rose, gold, and light green patina around the borders yields to lilac and violet in the centers. The surfaces on both sides have been well cared for. Population: 64 in 65, 3 finer (3/07).

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
