<B>1925-D 5C MS65 PCGS.</B></I> The 1925-D is one of the most difficult dates in the Buffalo nickel series to find with a decent strike. The Gem offered in the present lot, while exhibiting weakness in portions of the Indian's hair and in that above the bison's forehead, shows a a sharp date, horn, and mintmark. Lustrous surfaces reveal traces of powder-blue and gold-beige on the obverse, and gold-orange on the reverse, and are well preserved.
