<B>1925-D 5C MS65 NGC.</B></I> This is one of the most difficult dates in the Buffalo nickel series to acquire in well struck, problem-free condition. The current Gem, while not fully struck, exhibits a bold date and lettering. Portions of the hair on the Indian, and that over the bison's forehead, are a tad soft, as is the tail. Lustrous surfaces reveal hints of ice-blue and beige, and display some freckles of deeper tan or gray scattered about. A couple of minute marks are visible on the bison's left (right facing) foreleg.
