1925-D $20 MS64 PCGS. Although a few dozen coins exist at the MS64 level, one grade point finer this issue is a rare bird indeed, with only 13 Gems graded at NGC and PCGS combined (4/07). Much of the issue was melted in the late 1930s, so that near-Gems such as the present piece are the finest examples readily obtainable. This piece displays lustrous pinkish-gold surfaces with a few scattered light field abrasions and a premium appearance. Although the strike is bold overall, a touch of weakness is noted on the dome of the Capitol building.

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
