1925-D $20 MS63 PCGS. The 1925-D double eagle has a low survival rate as a result of most examples having been melted. This is reflected in the population figures, where to date, only about 600 specimens have been certified by PCGS and NGC, mostly through Mint State 64. Just 10 coins have been seen in MS65, and a mere three in MS66.
This Select example displays lustrous peach-gold surfaces that reveal subtle hints of light green. The design elements are generally well impressed, except for softness on the Capitol building. Some minute contact marks that are located over each side account for the grade. Population: 81 in 63, 94 finer (2/07).

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
