<B>1925 50C Lexington MS66 PCGS.</B></I> When Chester Beach wrote to Daniel Chester French, sculptor of the famous statue that graces the obverse of the Lexington half, the latter supplied useful photographs and advice. This strongly lustrous example has golden patina at the obverse rims and a few dots of maroon-violet toning on the reverse, but the surfaces are otherwise silver-gray.
