1924-S 5C MS65 PCGS. Among Buffalo nickels from the 1920s, the 1924-S has the second lowest production, greater than only the key 1926-S. This satiny Gem has rich honey and slate patina, and is surprisingly free from abrasions. The strike is razor-sharp throughout the peripheries, and only the hair directly above the braid shows perceptible incompleteness. Clashed as often seen beneath the Indian's chin and opposite near the motto. Essentially unimprovable, and a formidable addition to a matched set of Gems. Population: 32 in 65, 1 finer (2/07).

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
